This 10-day taste of South-East Asia brings you to two wildly different, yet equally enchanting parts of the region. Spend three nights exploring Singapore, then unwind with six nights in beautiful Bali, the Island of the Gods.
Welcoming you with one of the world’s most user-friendly airports, Singapore has often been called Asia in miniature. Here, you can enjoy a taste of Chinese, Indian, Malay, and other cultures as you weave your way through food hawker stalls, along with shopping districts at every level. Your first day takes you along the Peranakan Trail, discovering the culture, lifestyle, and history of the Peranakan people native to this island country. Your trip also includes a food tasting to complete the experience. The following day, hop a Trishaw for a ride through Kampong Glam, Singapore’s Malay district. The explosion of colour and beauty here can make it feel like you’ve stepped into another world, far from big city Singapore. Yet it’s an integral part of the city’s identity, as is nearby Little India. An audio tour puts the sights of both neighborhoods in context for you.
Flying on to Bali, the rest of your trip is completely at leisure, so you can experience this magnificent island your way. Perhaps start with a massage or yoga class to get into relaxation mode, then stretch out on one of Bali’s wonderful beaches, or go exploring the hinterland, visiting local villages and temples. There’s no shortage of sights to see, or activities to try. Bali is also considered one of the world's best surfing destinations, with swells to suit all levels of experience.

Begin your journey with a visit to a Kim Choo shop, where a gallery displays exquisite Peranakan costumes, intricate embroidery, beadwork, jewellery, porcelain, furniture, and traditional crafts--offering a captivating introduction to Peranakan culture. Continue through the lively enclaves of Katong and Joo Chiat, famed for their richly ornamented, baroque-style architecture, and admire rows of vividly painted traditional shophouses dating back to the 1920s and 1930s, each reflecting the elegance and pride of Peranakan life.

Day 5: East Bali: Sacred Temples, Waterfall & Village

Begin at Kehen Temple, an ancient Hindu temple nestled amid lush tropical greenery. Admire its impressive entrance and distinctive architecture while experiencing the serene atmosphere of this important spiritual site.
Continue to Besakih Temple, Bali’s largest and holiest temple complex, dramatically situated on the slopes of Mount Agung. Explore the extensive temple grounds and learn about its significance as the spiritual heart of Balinese Hinduism, with spectacular views across the surrounding landscape.
After lunch, journey to Gembleng Waterfall, a secluded natural gem surrounded by verdant tropical vegetation. Follow a scenic path through dense tropical vegetation to reach the cascading falls, where clear, cool water flows over a series of natural rock pools. Take time to enjoy a refreshing dip in the pools, relax amid the tranquil surroundings, or simply admire the peaceful beauty of this lesser-known corner of Bali. Continuing to Kusamba, a traditional coastal village renowned for its centuries-old salt-making traditions. Learn how local families harvest and produce sea salt using traditional techniques and, where possible, observe the process firsthand.
Day 6: Day at Leisure in Jimbaran Bay
Day 7: Ubud: Balinese Art, Nature & Spa Experience
Spend a day on the Island of the Gods focused on Balinese art, inspiring views, and a unique spa experience. Meet your guide and driver in the morning and drive to the Puri Lukisan Museum, the oldest art museum in Bali. Here you can admire an array of paintings and wood carvings from prominent Balinese artists.
Continue to the stunning highland area of Kintamani. From the rim of the Batur Caldera, take in the spectacular views over the massive crater lake and the still-active volcano. The nearby Bagus Jati Resort is the venue for a healthy lunch made from fresh produce from the resort's own garden. Set amongst lush tropical forests in the mountains of Ubud, the resort offers spectacular views of the surrounding mountains and valleys.
After lunch, head to the spa and prepare to unwind with an indulgent two-hour spa treatment. Start with a refreshing foot bath followed by a traditional Balinese massage. Then immerse yourself in a Madura island rock salt bath that warms the body allowing the pores to open. The spa therapist will then apply a conditioning body mask comprised of ginger, cloves, and other spices ground with brown rice, all enclosed with an outer banana leaf body wrap. A soothing head and face massage completes this spa experience. Feeling refreshed and rejuvenated, relax and enjoy the views on the drive back to your hotel.
Day 8: Nusa Penida by Private Yacht: Snorkel, Swim & Island Highlights
Set sail by private yacht to Nusa Penida, an enchanting island known for its dramatic cliffs, secluded bays and crystal-clear waters. After a morning transfer to the harbour, board your private yacht and cruise across the Bali Strait, relaxing in the comfortable cabin or on the rooftop sundeck with light refreshments as you take in the coastal scenery and keep an eye out for dolphins along the way.
Upon arrival, anchor in one of the island’s picturesque bays, where you can swim, snorkel or paddleboard in the clear turquoise waters. Relax on the floating pontoon and soak up the surrounding scenery before enjoying a light lunch served aboard the yacht.
In the afternoon, venture ashore to explore some of Nusa Penida’s coastal landmarks. Discover Broken Beach, where a dramatic natural arch frames a turquoise sea pool, followed by Angel’s Billabong, a striking natural infinity pool carved into the limestone coastline. Continue to Crystal Bay, celebrated for its white-sand beach, clear waters and peaceful setting.
After exploring the island, return to the harbour and cruise back to Bali aboard your private yacht.
Day 9: Day at Leisure in Jimbaran Bay
Start the afternoon with a visit to Pura Taman Ayun, a 17th century temple renowned for its stunning traditional Balinese architecture, manicured gardens, and serene lotus ponds. Continue to visit a Monkey Forest where monkeys roam freely in their own sacred forest. Next drive to the stunning coastal Tanah Lot temple located on a rock island in the sea. Without a doubt the most famous and photographed place in Bali, this sacred Hindu temple sits majestically on a large offshore rock which has been shaped over the years by the crashing waves of the surrounding sea.
Day 10: Depart from Bali
