Trip Overview :
This 10 day deluxe, private-guided tour gets to the heart of what makes Kenya such an unforgettable destination.
Start with exploring bustling Nairobi before beginning a full week of game drives at Samburu National Reserve and Masai Mara Game Reserve. Nairobi, Kenya’s largest city and capital, is hectic and colourful. You will start with a busy day visiting orphaned elephants and rhinos at the Daphne Sheldriks centre before visiting the home of Out of Africa author Karen Blixen and the Giraffe Centre where you get to feed giraffes from an elevated platform. A short flight to Samburu National Reserve starts off your exciting days of game drives. Samburu’s rugged and dry climate has created a haven for an abundance of wildlife. Your game drives over the next few days can feature anything from grevy zebras to somali ostriches to wild dogs or big cats such as lions or cheetahs. Take to the sky again for your transfer to Masi Mara Game Reserve. This enormous game reserve features vast savannahs. The defining feature here is the sheer volume of wildlife. Conservation efforts in Masai Mara have allowed animals such as wildebeest, lions, cheetahs, antelope, elephants and rhinos to flourish. Four nights at your luxurious lodge will pass by in a blink as you spend your days on thrilling game drives. Return to Nairobi on your final day for your onward travels.
